Germany's Job Seeker Visa (part of the Opportunity Card / Chancenkarte pathway) lets you move to Germany without a job offer in hand — giving you a full year on the ground to search, interview, and land the right role. If you secure a job offer from a German employer, you may go on to qualify for the EU Blue Card, with a clear route to Permanent Residency.
This post is especially for students with English B2+ proficiency and anyone who thinks they may already be eligible.

You'll also need a recognized degree or vocational qualification, proof of health insurance and accommodation, and a refundable deposit of approximately €13,000 (the blocked account requirement).
Note: the blocked-account deposit may be waived if you have a financial sponsor in Germany or a confirmed part-time job offer — eligibility depends on the German authorities' requirements.
